Resolvers are electromechanical devices that convert mechanical motion into an electronic signal. Being analog devices, resolvers have no onboard electronics making them ideal for high shock, vibration and other harsh environments. Harowe offers frameless resolvers also known as servo resolvers or pancake resolvers consisting of a rotor assembly that is shaft mounted and a stator assembly that is mounted to the customer's device or housing as well as shafted housed resolvers with flange, servo groves and c-face mounts.
These Resolvers are the ideal choice for high temperature, high shock and vibration and dirty environments. Heavy duty housed resolvers offer the reliability of Harowe brushless resolvers inside a sealed package with various IP rated models available. Housed resolvers are available in size 11 servo mount and size 25 servo or flange mount. The NorthStar R56 also utilizes Harowe's resolver technology in a heavy duty housing designed to replace resolvers used in the Reliance Automax DSC system.
It provide absolute feedback for brushless motors, robots and direct drive motors in precision rotary platforms and servo applications. These motor resolvers can operate in high shock and vibration, high temperature (up to 200 Degree Celsius) and are resistant to noise and contamination. Options include multiple speeds, radiation hardened, flux shielding technology and stainless steel housing. Frameless resolvers are available in sizes as small as size 10 (1.0 inch OD) and as large as size 55 (5.5 inch OD). HaroMax motor resolvers are available in size 15 and 21 and offer high accuracy up to 5 arcmin.
